YUP I JUST LOVE THINKING ABOUT HOW BOBBY SINGER WAS SO MUCH A PART OF THE REASON TEAM FREE WILL HAD A STRONG MORAL COMPASS, AND HOW IT WAS ONLY EVER BOBBY WHO KEPT CALM, WHO WAS WILLING TO SIT DOWN, RATIONALIZE, AND SLAP DOWN A LITTLE REALITY WHEN NEEDED, THAT HE CARRIED A BULLET AROUND IN HIS SHIRT POCKET THAT NEVER WENT THROUGH HIS SKULL JUST BECAUSE OF HIS SHEER LOVE FOR SAM AND DEAN. YOU KNOW WHAT WHILE WE’RE TALKING ABOUT IT HOW ABOUT WE POINT OUT THAT BOBBY’S COMPASSION EVEN EXTENDED TO CAS, WHO WAS A FUCKING SUPERNATURAL BEING, AND HOW BOBBY WAS WILLING TO TRADE PART OF HIS SOUL IN AN EFFORT TO HELP HIS BOYS. OH AND LET’S NOT FORGET HOW HE DIED PROTECTING SAM AND DEAN, FIGHTING TOOTH AND NAIL TO THE VERY END BECAUSE HE NEVER WANTED KIDS, HE THOUGHT HE BROKE EVERYTHING HE TOUCHED, BUT THESE BOYS WERE SUDDENLY DROPPED ON HIM, AND HE SPENT THE REST OF HIS LIFE DOING EVERYTHING HE COULD FOR THEM BECAUSE HE LOVED HIS SONS
I want him back more than I want anything else in SPN. And yes, I’m including Dean/Cas becoming canon. (Although both would be good.)
I know everyone says it was a good death (and it was - a very good death) but I just don’t care. I am selfish and I want him back. More than that I want Dean, Sam and Cas to have him back. I want them to have one constant, just one, without it being ripped away for dramatic effect.
